Resident Advisory: Hurricane Shelter Protocol

During severe weather events and active hurricane warnings, the San Mateo Village Clubhouse is available to residents seeking a structure stronger than standard home construction.

Please review the following safety guidelines if you plan to utilize the Clubhouse during a storm:

Lighting & Power: The Clubhouse does not have a backup generator. If main power fails, use battery-powered flashlights or lanterns. No candles or portable gas generators are permitted inside or immediately adjacent to the building.

Bedding: Pool lounge chairs will be moved inside for sleeping. Please bring your own pillows, sheets, and blankets.

Food & Water: Supply your own non-perishable food, bottled water, and personal supplies.

Pets: All pets must be secured in travel cages or crates at all times inside the facility.
